Meet the Optometrist

Dr. Maria Yagudaev is Florida board certified optometric physician that graduated Nova Southeastern University school of optometry in 2002. Originally from Uzbekistan, Dr. Yagudaev earned her undergraduate degree at CUNY Queens College in New York.

Since 2003 Dr. Yagudaev has worked at Fox Medical Center where she specialized in diagnosis treatment and management of ocular disease such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, ocular surface disease.In 2007 Dr. Yagudaev became the founder of Sunny Isles Eye Center where she applies her knowledge, experience, and expertise in treating, diagnosing and managing ocular disease as well as fitting hard to fit contact lenses. Patients with keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, ocular surface disease, post surgical corneas that cannot achieve good vision through glasses or soft contact lenses would benefit from scleral and mini scleral lenses for improvement of vision and comfort. 

Dr. Yagudaev also specialize in diagnosis and treatment of pediatric eye care.
